Got Santa?

Lori Writer / St. Paul by Tricycle: Brunch with Santa, Shamrocks St. Paul

(Edited Sunday December 22 to include more events.) You’re running out of time to take your kiddo to see Santa this year, but here are some options (in no particular order).  Some are by appointment only, so you must hurry!

Shamrock’s is our style (very low-key, though I’ll admit, the food isn’t exceptional), but we’ve also seen the Mall of America Santa, which is exceedingly efficient, especially if you want to have them do your Christmas cards for you on the spot.  You make an appointment and your wait is about 15 minutes. We also like the Jackson Street Roundhouse where the kiddos can play on the train tables, take a ride on a caboose, listen to music, tour real train cars, and take photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus ($5 for the photo), regular museum admission applies (admission cost our family of three about $25 ).

I know there are many more, so please recommend your favorites in the comments.  I’ll edit the list to add them in as I have time.
